SERVE
John 13:1-17: In this passage, Jesus performs the humble act of washing his disciples feet to illustrate that anyone claiming to follow Him and lead others to Him, must also be a servant to others.
Serving others helps us better understand Jesus purpose for our life. Serving others is a great way to comfortably express our faith outwardly to the world in greater and greater ways by putting others needs in front of our own, by putting others before self. We have many opportunities to serve in both small and large ways from coffee making behind the scenes to scripture reading, or providing a children's time in front of the congregation on Sunday mornings. There are also opportunities to serve our larger community and world.
