Rev. Michele Campton-Stehr was appointed to Renton United Methodist in July, 2015. Michele graduated from the University of Puget Sound in December 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Comparative Sociology. She attended Boston University School of Theology and earned a Master of Divinity degree in May of 1990. While attending BU, Michele had an opportunity to spend a summer in Ashkelon, Israel on an archaeological dig through Harvard University. She began service in the PNW Annual Conference in July 1990, serving Custer/Blaine, Green Lake, Beacon, Crown Hill, Shoreline, and Magnolia. Michele also enjoyed the Pastoral Leadership program at Seattle University in 2004-2005. Michele married Erich Stehr on January 28, 1994. Ms. Acheson is a music teacher in the Lake Washington School District and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Music in Music Education from the Boston Conservatory. She has worked with elementary and middle school aged students since 2015 and currently teaches elementary general music and beginning orchestra.
